The process and progress of work fascinates me and I feel like I should highlight this more often. So here are a few snapshots of my progress on the Peaks Resort piece.

I started doing a few these a little while back. Sort of an attempt to make an illustrated bug collection, whith the intent of floating these in deep set frame. Some bugs, insects, and arachnids are the focus. All drawn on 4" x4" watercolor swuares incase I felt like adding color.    This was a large, but paid, underakign into landscape and architectural illustration. There was a significant learnign curve to estimating time involved in a piece this size, 11" x 24", at least onn this scale. It was fun and I was quite happy with the final, as was the client, but I need to build sme time into my estimated costing in the future.     |
